Netinstall blew out my hard drive partitions MBR etc's

Well this is a first, while trying to use netinstall - i suddenly got a BSOD and lost hard drive MBR plus partitions, now i have spend forever recovering data back - and after that i have to try to fix 2 433ah’s that lost ethernet connectivity after OS upgrade - getting kernels panic’s

which harddrive, where the netinstall was running from, ie. your Windows drive?

My laptop hard drive,

Netinstall ran from my laptop hdrive ( Xp - ntfs )

what this right after clicking install?

Yes - after pressing “install” on netinstall said it was transfering but then BSOD, then on laptop reboot = partitions + file system all erased on my laptop - spent most of a day recovering data back from my laptop hard drive,

Netinstall does not appear or give a warning prompt which device, or check the device before it attempts to transfer ROS ?

Now here is my problem - 433ah after upgrading from 3.25 to 3.30, winbox cannot find the router either by IP or mac
I have used the 3.30 files on 8 X 433ah so far and they were upgraded ok - but in the last two problems not sure if this has had any effect in this sequence - but i transfered (1) routeros-mipsbe-3.30.npk (2) wireless-test-3.30-mipsbe.npk,
and rebooted with both taking effect - should i have transfered ROS first and then rebooted and then wireless test and rebooted ?

Now what can i do now - help please
