Netinstall can detect the router but does not work

Hi

I am trying reset a RouterBoard 493 which was stucked for a inexplicable reason. When I turn on, it makes the sound as if it were being reseted closing the jumper hole (it sounds like a lot of small “bips”). Then, no other sound is apreciable and do not response.

I tried to use Netinstall and the router is detected. But when I try to install the version 6.22 of mipsbe it get stucked in: Installing : “Partitioning and formatting harddrive…”

What is happening? Any suggestion or idea?

Kind regards

It is a 493, so hook up a serial cable and tell us what shows up on the console during bootup and during a Netinstall attempt.

A made on my website a netinstall procedure serial
See this link http://www.wirelessinfo.be/index.php/mikrotik/pages/seriale

you should get the login prompt there as you are using default settings. You could attempt to access board using winbox and check what packages you have installed as that output of colliding files is not normal. You can try to select mipsbe combo package for installation and then check what happens.
