Good Day.
I have been searching everywhere just to find out what the settings need to be on hypoerterminal to get into the bios.
All i get is jibberish on 433ah and 532a doesn’t even boot with serial cable plugged in.
Ive tried 115200, 9600 and few other with and without hardware flow control.
Whats it supposed to be?
From the RB532 user manual:
The serial port is set to 115200bit/s, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, hardware (RTS/CTS) flow control by default.
Not sure about the RB433AH but it’s probably the same.

RS232C asynchronous serial port, which is set to 115200bit/s, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity by default.
make sure you have a good serial cable.
Yes it was the @#$%^# serial cable that was faulty!
I assumed it would either work or not, not give jibberish!
