Netinstall with RB532

I have a RB532 that I was upgrading and it lost power during the upgrade. Now it will not boot and I can’t get netinstall to even recognize that the RB is there. Does anyone have any suggestions that I can try to get the OS loaded again without losing my licence.

Thanks

Here is what I get in the console when I try to boot the RB

Loading kernel from nand… OK
setting up elf image… OK
jumping to kernal code
Kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernal.

Press the “anykey” while booting and set boot option to Etherboot. Details here:

I already did that and the netinstall utility will not see the RB. Sorry if I mislead you on second post. That is what I get when I try to boot regularly. If I try the boot from ethernet I just see it waiting for the server but the server never sees it.

Had to start with basics first. When this happened on one of my 112s, I found by using the “r” (reset configuration) option the box would suddenly show up in Netinstall. This is of course if your Netinstall setup is valid and otherwise works on a good board.

I tried the r option and still nothing. I didn’t try a known good RB532 so i will try that when I have a few minutes and see if they show up in my netinstall. At least then I will know if I have a good install of netinstall or not. I have also tried through a switch and without a switch with a cross over cable. I have tried netinstall on two different computers. I am running out of things to try.

Thanks for you help
