Hi everyone!
We have been using Netinstall with hap lite for about 2 years to provide our routers a preconfigured script that help us to access the router even the customer resets it, but with latests bugfix and current versions, it doesn’t work.
Here is the test we have made:
Case 1:
-Router with 6.39.2, using custom script with Netinstall:
- Button reset = Config remains
- Reset with “system reset” = Config remains
Case 2:
-Router with 6.39.3(Bugfix) upgraded to 6.39.2 with winbox:
- Button reset = Lost config
- Reset with “system reset” = Lost config
- Both cases, custom username and password remains
Case 3:
-Router with 6.39.3(Bugfix), using custom script with Netinstall:
- Button reset = Lost config
- Reset with “system reset” = Lost config
- Both cases, custom username and password remains
Case 4:
-Router with 6.40.5(Current) upgraded from 6.39.2 with winbox:
- Button reset = Lost config
- Reset with “system reset” = Lost config
- Both cases, custom username and password remains
Case 5:
-Router with 6.40.5(Current), using custom script with Netinstall:
- Button reset = Lost config
- Reset with “system reset” = Lost config
- Both cases, custom username and password remains
Anyone are using netinstall with custom scripts and knows how what i’m doing wrong?
