I’m trying to get a netinstall working for a Dell Poweredge710 server. System boots up to PXE properly sees the server gets an ip then sits at “loading linux.” In the netinstall app on my windows box (that I’ve used countless times for other ROS devices), that’s usually when the mac address shows up and you choose a ROS install image.. but nothing shows up in the netinstall window. tried various versions of netinstall (6.43.4 - 6.42.10longterm - 6.42) nothing. any thoughts on something else I can try. ?
I’ve tried all the easier answers → different ports on the server (selecting which to PXE boot from), different windows computer running netinstall, different switch between the computers.
Does netinstall just not work for high end hardware (Networking Spec: Four embedded Broadcom NetXtreme II 5709c Gigabit Ethernet NIC)
