Hi

I have been struggling for the past two hours trying to get netinstall to talk to my CCR-1009
Following a power cut the router won’t boot (“loading kernel from nand”)

I have set up the CCR-1009 with boot to Ethernet
I activated the Boot server in Netinstall and entered an ip address within the same subnet
I keep getting “Please, check ethernet cable…”

I have tried a direct link, intermediate switch…nothing works
I have even attempted to use DHCP protocol - the router however doesn’t attempt to reach the DHCP server

I tested the same setup with an RB433 and it works perfectly

Any ideas ?

double check wich is the correct “boot port” on the CCR and use that ..

Silly me, I assumed it was port eth1
There is even the indication ‘boot’ above port n°8 !
