NetInstallPPC on CF card using X86 PC and card reader

Trying to install ROS for the PPC on a CF card using a card reader on a Windows PC… When I first open Netinstall I can see ALL the ROS versions (including mipsbe, ppc, x86 etc) in the directory. When I click on the Drive Letter in “Routers/Drives” at the top of netinstall it immediately switches the “Packages” window to only show the X86 ROS versions in the directory… BUT I need to write ROS for the PPC to the CF Card. There’s nothing wrong with the Card, or Card reader… it’s the automagic filtering that Netinstall does that prevents me from writing the CORRECT ROS to the card…

So how can I install ROS for PPC to the CF card ?

Thx,
S

Sounds like the NetInstall program probably doesn’t have code to support writing PPC packages to a drive

have you given the support people a contactarooney?

RouterBOARD can’t boot from the CF card. That’s why there is no option for PPC packages to CF.
