I am using a pair of Netmetal 5’s for a PTP link on an AM tower. Shielded Cat 5 for the power, Mikrotik gbic’s for the fiber and Mikrotik media converters, so everything is Mikrotik. Everything has worked great for about a year no problems until recently. Radio keeps locking up anywhere from a couple of hours to about 30+ hours and has to be power cycled to restore connectivity. Have tried three different radios at the location (all new out of the box) and same thing happens. I also have three Netmetal 5 AP’s on the tower same setup configuration with no problems, just this one PTP radio. All ideas and suggestions welcome.
