NetMetal ax connected @ SFP 2.5Gbs

Attempting to implement a wireless upgrade to SFP 2.5 GB connectivity …

I don’t see an outdoor offering with SFP 2.5 GB anywhere…

How are you connecting your Netmetal ax @ 2.5G outdoors?

Right here on the product page it claims SFP @ 2.5Gbs https://mikrotik.com/product/netmetal_ax

Details
SFP ports 1 (2.5G supported)

What is the part number for the 2.5GBs SFP module - RJ flavor ?

On the product page it is referring to this “SFP compatibility list”:
https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/spaces/ROS/pages/220233794/MikroTik+wired+interface+compatibility

Which contains 4 tables, titled:

  • 1G SFP
  • 10G SFP+/25G SFP28
  • 40G QSFP+
  • 100G QSFP28

So you have to search for Netmetal ax and find out that it is listed in both "1G SFP" and "10G SFP+/25G SFP28" tables.

Then look at notes 14 and 15, conveniently placed at the bottom of the 4 tables:
14. L009, L22/mANTBox ax 15s, L23/NetMetal ax, FTC21 - supports up to 2.5G rate (works with forced speed setting).
15. L22/mANTBox ax 15s, L23/NetMetal ax - works with forced speed setting

Then go up again to the "1G SFP" and "10G SFP+/25G SFP28" table and find the SFP module models where note 14 apples to.

Not exactly straightforward, or maybe I have a too small monitor.
