Assuming that the screen shot is from your Netmetal then TX is the Netmetal signal strength as received by the device the Netmetal is connected to. The RX is the signal strength received by the Netmetal from the device it is connected to.
Adjusting the Netmetal output power up or down would result in and change up or down in the TX value.
Thanks for your help,
Does that mean the RX signal is a signal on the local side?
And in this case, the RX signal is worse. This means it’s probably a less well-aimed antenna on the device I’m logged on to.
Going out on the field and accessing the antennas is very inconvenient, so I would like to be sure before that.
Best regards.
The RX signal is coming from the device that the Netmetal is connected to. I guess I would call that “remote”. To make the RX stronger you would have to deal with the remote device.
Your RX is generally considered a good signal strength. I would first try to decrease the netmetal power output by increasing its “antenna gain” setting.
Hi,
Thank you for the suggestions, I will test this link.
