NetMetal5 worst than ANT5?! [Solved]

Dear all,

I have been using Mikrotik QRT-5 5Ghz 23dbi AP/Backbone/CPE 1000mW Dual-Chain RB911G-5HPnD-QRT for a 3Km P2P link for a while.

I decided to purchase
Mikrotik mANT30 PA Parabolic Dual-Chain Dish Antenna 5GHz 30dBi MTAD-5G-30D3-PA with NetMetal RB921UAGS-5SHPacT

It seams than whatever I do (settings and alignment) the signal quality does not improve at all.

Anyone can provide me a guide on how to setup P2P dual chain with NetMetal5?

Whats your signal levels with QRt5 and now?

Dear,

I forgot to replace the power converter.
I have just noticed they had different amp.

Now the NetMetal5 is working just fine. I get 1ms-2ms pings with no packet loss :slight_smile:
