Just received a netPower Lite 7R and discovered that while several ether ports can have POE-IN but ONLY ether 8 has POE-OUT?
For a WISP having POE-Out is important along with POE on/off for POE ether ports, my plan was to replace RB960’s having extra ether ports on the 7R but without POE-OUT
I must revise my plan ?
Looks like you missed that it is kind of special reverse-PoE switch.
For PoE-out there are different models.

The netPower 16P has SFP+ and a bunch of POE out - so for a “wisp” that should be what ya need.
We look forward to using something like this in an MDU (multi dwelling unit) situation - one POE (out) to an antenna to pick up bandwidth, and reverse POE from each Customer.
That way if customers reboot their devices the switch and antenna stay up. You can add a battery back up to this if you want.
All in all a pretty slick unit.
Like the others said, this is a completely different device for a different purpose.
You should exchange this one for the netPower 16P
