netwatch failover assistance

Below is the config for the 750 I am using to accomplish this.
Have a working netwatch config setup with two separate internet connections. It functions correctly when link is dropped, disabled or all together disconnected.
After about 20 seconds, the backup line comes up and takes over.
From a PC, you can communicate to the web. However, the IP phones lose communications/registration with the SIP server when the switch happens and will not regain an active state when switching to or from each WAN connection.

What could be happening? Is there a way to “reset” the sip connection manually through a script?

[admin@MikroTik] >

In the script that switches ISP put this:

/ip firewall connection remove [find protocol="udp"]

, it will remove any NATed udp ‘conncections’.

P.S. In case you use ROS 5.12+ then try a /export compact instead next time.

P.P.S. It is a bad idea to put commands/script code directly in a netwatch the up/down-script field, put the code in a named script and call that in stead (just but putting the name of the script in the up/down-script filed). The day you start using global variables you will know why.

Thanks for the tips pasmsig
I will give this a try and see what comes of it.
