I am setting up net watch to keep an eye on a few of my network devices. If I set it to ping each device every 10 seconds, will that effect my network in any way? If so, what ping interval should I set it to so that my network is not effected? Thanks.
The network is safe if you set also 1 sec.
Leave 10 sec is perfect.
What if I set up 20 or 30 devices and have net watch ping them every 10 seconds? Does that in any way effect the network? I don’t want to cause any loss of speed or bottlenecks. Thanks.
Not a problem at all.
Not a problem at all since ping packets are very small and have low priority.
