I’ve noticed that on RouterOS 6 and 7, I’m able to assign both network and broadcast addresses to interfaces. My understanding is that this shouldn’t be possible unless it’s a /32 or /31 subnet. Is there something I’m missing, or is this an expected behavior?
ROS allows admin to set all kinds of settings, only minimal consistency checks are in place. It’s admin’s responsibility to set things in a sane manner.
