Hi All,
I have setup 3SXT and 1 RBSXT working in WDS Bridge mode with RSTP. All these devices and the host connected to them are communicating within the bridge network perfectly (all interface pingable).
They have assorted IP addresses within 192.168.88.0/24 range . The root bridge is 192.168.88.1 which has eth1-gateway connected to the modem and DHCP has given it an IP.
My Billion 7800GZ Modem/router which serves out DHCP and DNS is 192.168.88.254.
From any of the SXT’s and their hosts I cannot reaching the internet or ping (4.2.2.2,8.8.8.
. But from the root bridge which is directly connected to the modem it can reach 4.2.2.2,8.8.8.
.
I have configured static routes on the SXTs to 0.0.0.0 via the WLAN interfaces without any luck! The SXTs cant even obtain an IP Address from the DHCP Pool on the modem?
I have tried DHCP relay and other thing without luck too.
This is driving me nuts! all the devices are within the same IP address range but devices cannot connecting outside of the wireless bridge network to another device on the same subnet!
What am I doing wrong!!
