Network Routing

Hi All,

Below there is a network diagram for a network implementation.

I’ve successfully configured PPPoE server on 433 and clients on SXT CPEs.
NAT masquerade applied on CPEs too. Each PC can ping 10.0.0.1 with success

Requirements:

  1. CPE1 & CPE2 should gain internet access through DSL1 (2mbps)
  2. CPE3 & CPE4 should gain internet access through DSL2 (2mbps)
  3. All CPEs shoud access Web-Server (15mbps)

Can you please propose and indicate routing and traffic control settings?

You make it sounds like it’s an exam question. What exactly have you done, and do you have any questions that you would like us to help you with, or are you just out to get free consultancy?

I’m trying to be more precise and ask specific questions.

Well, I just need your consultancy on the configuration settings in order to match the described requirements.

What I have done so far is to configure the AP as to accept connections from the SXTs over PPPoE. User Manager also installed on AP.

All CPEs can reach the AP but I need the final routing and traffic control configuration from AP towards DSL routers and Web-Server.

Do I need to set a BGP on 433ah or simple static route?

Tips:

1 - Get rid of NAT at the SXT level (do it at the 433).
2 - Rationalise IP networks.
3 - Change ‘Router’ to do source based routing.

If that’s not enough to get you going, there are many people here who offer commercial consultancy and who may be willing to help.

So, after applying NAT on 433, SXT will only work on bridge mode.

After that will User Manager have to handle each PC separately?

I just wanted to have each CPE running on a “DSL router like” mode.

Believe me… no money left for commercial consultancy… :frowning:

my answer is:
leave all the setting as they are in your picture and setup static routing.
If you are planning to extend your network set up ospf dynamic routing.
