Hi guys and girls i have my current setup network like the picture
I’m wondering is this the best setup for the Capax as they are working out of the Hapax3 with injectors or would it be better with the Capax to be working out of the Managed switch with injectors??
or does it not madder?
The Hapax3 is my DHCP and default Wifi device with all the Capax running as CAPs all ethernet wired
Cheers Pete

It doesn’t matter much.
Well, if you do some traffic flow analysis (we can’t do it for you), then you may discover some prevailing traffic directions (e.g. between wifi stations and NAS). And you probably want as little network hops as possible … in average. Which, in case of massive wifi<->NAS traffic, means you likely want cAPs connected to main switch. If not for latency (additional switch means a microsecond or two of added latency) all that traffic does use your link between main switch and hAP ax3. And vice versa: if wifi stations mostly use internet, then you definitely want cAPs connected to hAP ax3.
cheers for the reply
Yer caps use internet as wifi only so i will not bother changing it i will leave it alone
