Currently this is what I have setup.
1 RB433
- ap bridge
- Static IP address on eth1 on WAN side
- eht2 & eth3 setup in bridge, dhcp server setup for this bridge
- WLAN setup with it’s own dhcp server and hotspot is setup to radius server to authenticate
this setup is working fine, I get the hotspot login page and authenticate and am able to browse the internet.
1 RB411AH
- ap bridge
- eth1 setup for DHCP client
- WLAN1 setup for dhcp with 172.16.x.x scope for all wifi clients
- hotspot setup on wlan1 port to use RADIUS server
- no bridges setup
I have the RB411AH on eth2 on the RB433. I would like the RB411AH to use the same RADIUS server as the RB433 does. I can connect to the RB411AH when it is on the RB433 eth 2 and I get a DHCP IP address from the RB411 successfully, but when I go to browse the internet I get the hotspot login page but it does not authenticate with the RADIUS server. Is there a way to get this to have the RB411AH use hotspot setup without having to mesh it with the RB433? Thanks for the help
