Hi
if any one have practical knowledge over this please suggest mu with the bellow thing

i have 2 routers about 15mtrs apart max

now what will be the best scenario

  1. connect both directly with a CAT6 cable(i doubt if it will work)
  2. put a POE switch in between(problematic since it will be over head so risk of rain is there)
  3. put fiber media converter (in this case i will have to put a power cable from point 1 to other as the remote end is owned by another company and they will not allow me to use their power even for a media converter)

Need this help ASAP

Did you write that correctly? 15 meters is very much within the specification of CAT5/6. You can go all the way up to 100m, or 60-70m with PoE

not 15 mtr i am talking about 100 mtr

i know it’s to much but how can it be done??

You mention ‘risk of rain’ so I’m assuming this is an outdoor cable path.

If it’s more than 100m, it will have to be fiber.
Alternatively, if you have line of sight between the two locations, you can set up a wireless link between the two buildings then wire the each wireless endpoint to the router (ie. from the roof to the network room).
