new base station

hii..

i m planning for a new base station in 5.8 GHz n only in one chain. becuase we dont have good Mimo antenna aviable here. for base station. moreover even miktriok dont hav a Mimo package as like RB711, it only have a/n single chain, so we dont have good Mimo Cpe package for clients.

so we decided to go with RB711A-5Hn-M for base station with regular 5.8 sector antenna and RB711-5Hn-M for client CPE with regular 5.8 panel antenna.
we are planning to use NV2, or should be use only 5.8 GHz only n (no NV2).?
will it work, will it be stable. ?
will it be more relaible and more powerful then regular 5.8 base station. ?

plz suggest.

NV2 is still in Beta - if you will use all MT CPE - then just use Nstream until NV2 is stable :slight_smile: It will work very well.

in what manner i should configure my AP (WDS-, Nstreame-settings etc,) and what settings i need in mikrotik CPE ? to get best results…
