new CCR1009 crashes when turned sideways

I just got a CCR-1009-8G-1S-1S+ in the mail Thursday and it seems to crash whenever I tilt it. It’s such a crazy problem that it took me a few times to figure out what was even causing it. If someone else has one on a bench can you see if it’s a shared flaw?

Is it a rackmount or a passive cooling unit? What is your room temperature? Do you see any temperatures raising in System->Health when you tilt the device? What is in log after the crash? Does it crash when tilted on other side?

got some time to look at it again-
this is on a bench in my office, the temperature is 68 degrees F in here, the tile proc gets to be around 54C.

it seems as though the turning sideways thing was a red herring- all you have to do is pick it up while it is running, or otherwise cause it to jostle slightly and it will crash. just once i was able to get an error message from the serial console during the crash, otherwise it just becomes unresponsive and the LCD freezes:

also, rackmount- 2 fans inside. they rarely come on.

Sounds like a hardware failure to me. Probably should not think much of this and return the device for RMA.
