Yes, a bit of a pity because we use USB 4G sticks and need to use RB951G instead.
Exactly! 4g is best option for most people in Europe to get dual WAN failover. I can get 15gb for as low as 5€ /month.
I really can’t understand lack of USB in 750 and 850gx2 (and sfp cage in this).
If you go back to the first post you will see a USB port in the photo.
35GB for 2€/month
They forgot to include it in the spec overview?
It would be great! Can anyone from mikrotik confirm that?
You can see more clearly here:
I really hope it has USB
But is there a cutout in the case? And is it working?

They also forgot to mention SD slot and confirmed it already, so maybe we have hope.

Yes, standard size USB port on the side. I took photos of the board top and bottom so you can see it. Very clean layout.
Great

Thanks Tom!
Due to USB issues on other RB products the hAP AC Lite has been our Go-To device for 4G modems, im hopeful this can become the new Go-To
It has fully functional USB 2.0 port.
Hej
Dual-Core 880 MHz, MIPS1004Kc etc.. similar specification as Ubu EdgeRouter . Hmmm…Interesting.

same cpu as edgerouter x
Has anyone this in real use yet? Mine should be ready for pick-up in local post office.
Ordered from Sonictest.eu, they also has these in stock already, although it is not listed on their website yet.
This would be great for traffic shaping at ~100 Mbit/s. Can’t wait to see this with ROS v7 and fq_codel.
Mtk guys, please release block diagram. So far, my testing is telling me that “poison is packed in small packages”. Really mighty device, that can be combined through VLAN with cheap Tp-Link managed switch easily. Interesting thing is that Ethernet interfaces don’t show switch group. Can that be true? Every port is connected directly to cpu? Just like ccr?
