New Groove A-52HPn

I have 2 new Groove A-52HPn devices and I can’t seem to access them no matter what I do. I tried accessing them on 192.168.88.1 to no avail (no http, no ping). I tried accessing them with winbox, and they show up with an IP of 0.0.0.0. When I try clicking on the MAC to connect that way, it never connects. When I try holding the reset button to do an netinstall, they never show up in the netinstall app. They do show up in winbox as I described above.

In winbox it shows the software version as 6.23.

I’m not sure what to try next.

I’ve searched the forum, and tried the instructions at these places.

Thanks in advance,
Damon

Disable the firewall on your PC?

Or try with give the networkcard an fixt ip like 192.168.88.10 subnet 255.255.255.0
Sorry for my bad englisch

Ok, I disabled the firewall on my box, but still not change in behavior. I’ve also tried manually assigning 192.168.88.10/24 to my ethernet port, but I can’t ping 192.168.88.1. I’ve tried resetting many times, and it doesn’t appear to do anything. Whether I am holding reset or doing a normal boot, I always get the long high to low chirping.

Is the port linking? Is there any traffic on the port? When you try netinstall don’t release the button until it’s show in the list. Maybe try other version of netinstall like 6.29 for example.

Be sure that netinstall software is same version as your ROS.

By sure that the network cable is not broken

Does installed virtualbox or something else on your computer ?
It happened to me. Once I deleted the virtual network card everything back to normal

Hehehe: Be sure it is not broken…
