Hi. Is anyone having problem with the new D-Link´s Dwl-g520? The older versions (H/W B1 and B2) used to work perfetly on mykrotik. Now the new version, B3, is reconized as 5213 but will act as deaf (will not work as ap, will not scan, etc). I tried 2.8.18 and 2.8.24, with the same results. I was wondering if D-Link could put a hardware lock so we could not use this card as a ap or even a station on linux. Any suggestions?
I was wondering if there´s a way to swtich the dwl-g520 firmware to a older one. I was seeking on google, and i found a lot of people with the same problem on other linux drivers as mad-fi. Any suggestions?
try using wireless legacy. downgrade your wireless package to legacy i guess if you are using 2.8.22 or less
my mt box and 5213 works fine using 5,8ghz 
I´ll try legacy…The weird thing is i have others dwl-g520 working just fine, only on this specific firmware version mikrotik will act strange. Probably D-link´s fault.
Today i had a answer from D-Link´s support saying could be a problem with the hardware version B3. Anyone using this version?
