I got my new hEX S Mikrotik router yesterday in my mail box.This is my very first time owning a Mikrotik router. During my configuration, I wasn’t successful in my internet connictivity from my computer firefox browser. Ok, here’s my setup,
I have a PPPoE dsl internet at home, I was able to login into my PPPoE username and password to my ISP. I even went to the Terminal and ping google.com and successfully established internet connection.
But, whenever I open up my browser, I don’t have internet activity. DHCP enabled, my router is at 192.168.1.1, and I’m getting an IP of 192.168.1.254. I unchecked NAT. I tried to check NAT, but after I click apply, it will uncheck automatically, why is that? Is my new hEX S router diffective from factory?
Or, I’m missing something in my configuration?

It is doubtful the router is faulty. Most likely a misconfiguration. Please post your config for us so we can see and advise.
Enter into terminal; export hide-sensitive=yes
This will export your config hiding most specific details, ensure to edit out anything else.
