Not a new MikroTik user, but a new question, for me..coudn’t find an answer on the forum.
I have a MikroTik rb 750r2 and would like to change the LAN IP’s to a new number.
From 192.168.88.1 to 192.168.2.1. And give the connected computers and network printer a new IP in the range of the 2.xx 's
I did find a manual on the web; how to “how to change the default DHCP range”, but didn’t succeed..
Just find all places with 192.168.88.x and change it. You can export your configuration (/export command in console), open it in some text editor and search for all occurences of “192.168.88.”. That way you can’t miss any.
edit…
This Mikrotik router doesn’t have a serial port - MikroTik rb 750r2.
Is there another way to aces the router with a console - and can you advise a console?
I know how to access through a serial cable to an accesspoint, but that’s an old one..
