I bought 2 LHG XL 5 ac to create a wireless bridge and following a tutorial it said i needed to have station-ap enabled. but that requires Licence level 5 (mine came with 3) so i started a trial and tried creating the bridge that way which didn’t work. but the licence expired and now it’s level 1 and can’t find the wireless interface anymore. resetting it to factory settings and updating it didn’t fix it how can i get it back to level 3 and also show the wireless interface again?
Looks like you followed wrong tutorial. If you need point to point link, L3 is enough. You’d need L4 for point to multipoint. And L5 doesn’t make sense, it doesn’t add anything for wireless over L4.
One way to get original L3 back would be to restore license key you should have exported from router, but you wouldn’t be asking if you did. Another is to write to support, explain your problem and ask them nicely if they could generate new key for you. Worst case would be to buy new license.
