I have a few routers I purchased from some distrubutors and the licenses are not transferred to my account.

If I try to update the license, can it make a problem ? Do you I have to have those licenses in my account in order to update the license to the new format ?

No that is not a problem. To get a copy of the license in your account, you can always “request key” from your account and a virtual folder will be set up in your account with access to the keys.
