New MB old HDD?

We need to up grade the MB on one of our MT PC boxes that is running user manager and Dude. Is it possible with MT to just pull the HDD and move it to a new box? or is a fresh install needed to get the right drivers etc. We have paid for a level 6 lic which is associated with the HDD so I don’t really what to reinstall and loose the the L6 Lic…plus its more work!

The license is tied to the hard drive. If the new motherboard is supported, swapping it out should work.

in 99.9% of cases it will work =)

but in some rare cases MB may change disk’s geometry or something… :slight_smile:
