New MT and lots of new Problems

Hello
I started me new MT becouse me last mt (2.:sunglasses: is too slow and sometimes get creazy  So i think its time to change for new version 2.9 and new hardware P4 1.8 and new wifi cards:
Wlan1: Ubiquiti SuperRange 2 (SR2)
Wlan2: Senao NMP-8602-PLUS-400
But when i started this new MT i get lots of problem (I have last version 2.9.39) this is me problem:

  1. Strangely “Signal Strenght (dBm)” < look the screen shot
  2. Problem with negotiatiate good link speed like 5.5Mbps (On old Mt have no problem with negotiate 11Mbps here is problem with 5.5)
  3. And old problem with “Data extensive loss” in log and other like this:

12:27:12 wireless, info 00:00:00:00:00:00@wlan1: disconnected, got disassoc: sending station leaving (8)
12:27:17 wireless, info wlan1: data from unknown device 00:00:00:00:00:00, sent deauth
13:38:22 wireless,info 00:00:00:00:00:00@wlan2: disconnected, extensive data loss
13:38:34 wireless, info wlan2: data from unknown device 00:00:00:00:00:00, sent deauth

Tx for help !

Hi, I’m having some of that problem.
I’m using MTK APs with Edimax Clients and I get a lot of disconnection messages.

I’ll post results then.

Thanks.

Clients have difrents cards:

  • D-link
  • Realtek
  • Ralink
  • Plant
    APS:
  • D-Link DWL-900AP+
  • MiniTar Realtek RTL8186

Try to change antena a or antena b in wireless config. Maybe you select wrong antena on wireless card.

I have select correct antene. I make reboot and singal strenght goo now correct hmmm this is relly streangly. But whot now still is problem with good speed negotiation and with errors in logs. Meaby change MT version for older ? whot is recomendation MT version ?. Or meaby other ? meaby i need somtching change any options ?.

Which channels are you using? TX power? How close are antennas to eachothers?

/Henrik

wlan1: frequency=2457
wlan2: frequency=2422

This is same chanel whot i have on old MT 2.8 and they anennas stay on mast wlan1 antenn is higher on mast and wlan2 is under wlan1 antenn about 1m. TXPOWER is default

Replace the senao radio with an R52.

The router board with the senao is flaky in many different ways.

I dont use router board this is normal pc with p4 processor.

SLAiDER, please make the support output file when you see these low singnals and send it to support@mikrotik.com

I send in (Staurday) but me big problem is problem with negotiation good speed like 5.5Mbps and problem with extensive data loss disconnected and other error disconnected in log. I think here is meany people who use MT and meaby any help me ?. So i write here too.

hy,
in your first screen shot , you can note that your signal to noise is 61 dB, … I think that this is too high.

Try to search a channel with noise floor around -88/-90 on the wlan2, maybe this can solve your disconnections.

When i started search better noise floor on wlan2 i get -62 and on wlan1 i get -98 i search them on same chanel 2422 on wlan2 and wlan1 i have the best on wlan2 i got -62 and on wlan1 i got -81 but now on all channel i have about -95 too -100 no better and i back to old chan on wlan2 where i last see -62 now i have -95 ;/ meaby i have somthing wrong i configure interface ? here is print:
