New or Unauthorized devices on network

Hello All,

Does anybody know if The Dude will detect a new device on the network. For instance, if somebody were to plug a device on the network or connect to our wireless network, will it show up on the Map or any other location?

If so, is there a way to identify unauthorized devices on the network?

The Dude has feature “Add Networks to Auto Scan”.

  • Click on “Network Maps”,
  • select network map you want to add new devices,
  • click on Settings;
  • below you will see Auto Scan window, click on plus to add network to autoscan and specify period of time to repeat autoscan.
