New Products

Why doesn’t RB750UP contain gigabit eth1? This solution is only for small country side AP, not for heavy load :frowning:

Becouse if they add 1Gbs uplink it will make a perfect machine for our UBNTu radio sites ) .

Why USB port? 8x ethernet is better feature… :frowning:(( .

But still the RB750UP seems to be the best news (depend on the price later…) - still the rest news are almost no competition for UBNTu wireless allinone products (AirBeam, GPS Sync, ect. … ).

what? RB751 has optional MMCX connector, but antenna is built in. read more carefully

why RB2011 five Fast Ethernet ports? Why do not all like the Giga Ethernet RB1200?

because it will be super low cost

Sheesh, mikrotik releases all these cool new products and people just complain about them. Sorry, they can’t make everything have gigabit and quad-core processors for $100. I for one am glad to see a dual-core processor and tons of options now for routerboards that have more than 5 ports. 2 years ago they only had around 2 or so? Now there is half a dozen. Pick the one that fits your needs and budget. Also, the new 1W router looks very appealing to me and that does have gigabit! I kind of wish the one with POE out had gigabit though. Hopefully it has a better temperature ratings than the regular 750. Overall, I am very pleased to see Mikrotik pushing ahead like this, way to go guys!

Hi Normis,

Is there also going to be a RB1100 AH X2-style Board with SFP onboard sometime soon?
To be honest, I actually assumed that these higher class boards would be
the first to be outfitted with SFP  I know of absolutely nobody who would need a low-cost SFP CPE…
FTTx is just way too uncommon…

all of our country is FFTx  depends on the region probably

Now that was unexpected  I didn’t know that FTTx is common anywhere in the world right now …
Well, now that you put it that way, it of course does make sense…
Still, any plans on incorporating SFP into the high-end routerboards?
If I might make a wish, please include 2 SFP ports to be able to use
the Routerboards in a Ring topology (1 in, 1 out)

I hoped to see the SXT 20dB antenna in list.
It would be perfect! sigh :frowning:

Really appreciate all the new products, but I’m still missing something like 413G and/or at least 433G SFP (1 giga eth+poe and 2 sfp) or 435G SFP. We want convert all roof installations to fiber optics.

Looks like playing LEGO…

“Hmm… Lets see. I have a really good product idear: Take a green one for the 100MBit-Interfaces. Oh we have new blue ones for POE-distribution. I 'll take one of this. Now I want to have one for a metal case and a connected shield for ethernet… Oh, no one there then we will take the white one for the plastic case… = RB750UP”

Why the hell I shielded everything to prevent EMI and terminate the things on a LowCost-Plastic-Router? Please spend a metal case or at least some shield contact to the RJ45 …

I am realy sorry for this harsh critic (I am a MT-OS fan) but I am really disapointed about the new products. I expected something like RB 1200 with some SFP slots or something new in wireless like GPS sync or FDD 5Gig. Instead I see some new “battle places” like the CPE for FTTH. MT where will you go? Wireless? Professional routing/switching? FTTH?
Eliminate 10 fires at the same time with one tube will not be successfull.

These devices were prototypes. It will have shielded connectors.

Interesting new products; I’m looking forward to try some when available.
BTW I hope the USB ports on new devices being self powered this time…

RB435G - 9-30v - not 48v? Will that be sufficient for 5 high power cards?

@normis

Thank you for the info. I can live with shielded connectors and the plastic case. What is about RB1100 or 1200 like device with more than one SFP slot? Are you working on this?

Yes those are powered USB ports.

Great; Thanks uldis!

Sanity has been restored!

Dear mikrotik..

can be the Wifi product come at least 28dbm RF power or more higher?

if can be something look like ubnt nano m2 such thing will be great..
