new queue behavior on mt3?

I usually set up my queues so that I have a list of all the clients queue to whatever. Then my infrastructure ips queue to unlimited then a kill rule.

I upgraded some routers to 3.14 now and the infrastructure is now limited down to the kill rule (1kbps). Is there a better way to do this?
(I do not want to create firewall rules as my clients are added dynamically.

this seems to be the issue (from the 3.12 changelog)
*) changed behaviour of simple queues - queues with no limit and type default-small
and no children actually do not get installed, as if there was no queue;


Ideas?

search the forum for the problem…

and you should find that you have to change from default-small to default and queue will work again.

what is the reasoning behind this change to the default-small queue?
