New RadioMobile Installer - 7 May 2014

Hi Guys,
For those of you familiar with Radio Mobile, I have been working on making a user friendly installer for it, it is multilingual and includes antenna pattern files for 802.11 networks as well as a couple of Mikrotik Radio parameters.

For those of you not familiar with Radio Mobile, it is an RF propagation simulator that can be used to plot Line of Sight graphs, coverage maps and more.

You can find it on http://binaryheartbeat.blogspot.com/2014/04/radio-mobile-installer.html

I will update this thread whenever I update the installer, or if a new version of RM is made available.
I will also be posting some tutorials for simulating 802.11 networks with RadioMobile in the near future.

07 May 2014 - Installer updated to version 11.4.8
08 April 2014 - Installer updated to version 11.4.7
03 April 2014 - Installer updated to include 120 deg 5Ghz sector antenna

The file seems to have been removed. Can you post a new link, please.

Hi, I corrected a bug with a couple of the antenna patterns, it is busy uploading right now. Check back in a couple of minutes

Outstanding Job!

Great work! It would be great if you can write a short guide on how to use it
You could also add 5GHz-120° sector antenna pattern

Thank you!

I have added the pattern file you have requested, and wrote a basic tutorial, you can check the first post for links.

Hi

Where can I find the antenna patterns shown in the tutorial examples? MT Metal, Groove etc..

Otherwise great work!

Hi Trisc,

If you use the installer from my site, the antenna pattern files are included, as well as a number of preconfigured 5.8ghz radios
