New RB1100AHx2, boot failure = "Authorization Failure"

Hey,

Hoping someone can assist, unknown how to proceed with this after manual/google draws a blank.

New device, basically no config, applying one interface, a new firewall rule blocked traffic so I successfully reset the device, now on boot, routerboot states “Authorisation Failure” and does not boot.

Temporary fix is: take case off, press reset button, put power in, but don’t press a key for setup, and it boots.

Obviously this means the router sits on a desk opened, to get it to run.

Routerboot and RouterOS upgrades to newest versions already (3.02 / 6.7).

Any advice welcome!

Thanks,
Pete.

Try to do a New net install to the Device.

Thanks for the response samsung172.

A (different) reseller pointed out to perform a new RouterBoot upgrade after RouterOS upgrade. Even though RB was done, turned out RB needed to be performed again after the RouterOS.
