i bought a router and this is my first time using it ,i have no idea how to do it but im good in networking ,so some one please can help me .

it comes with 5 gigabit and 5 fastethernet

i already named 2 ethernet ports as wan and lan .
stuck with the ips ??? :open_mouth: and i do have a gateway router from the isp

255.255.255.240
gw 93.184.14.177

My biggest issue I had when first using Mikrotik was with the subnet mask of the AP/station etc…

192.168.1.1/24

As I understand it /24 connotes the subnet mask 255.255.255.0

There are others you can use but they are beyond the scope of my knowledge. Maybe you already knew this, idk, you mentioned you were stuck with the ip’s. Well /24 was my fix.
