I’m disappointed.

  • no GigE
  • slow CPU
  • no plastic case
  • L3 licence

Hope there are more 7xx models in the pipeline.

cheap CPE ok, but:

  • no plastic case
  • no DC JACK - WHY ? (cost 0,1 EUR)
  • lan integrated in CPU :confused:

We have more than 10 new products coming this year, each will have their own. This is for the integrators, they simply love them. Demand is very high.

the RB711 is special because it doesn’t have any of those features, that way it’s cheaper.

Is it so difficult to bring something really useful like a 450G + R52Hn + L5 in a nice metal case? I’m pretty sure that’s what most of us were expecting for. It would sell like hotcakes.

Yes, my RB dream:

ideal CPE for indoors:

3x eth (build in switch)
1x build in radio (b/g/n or a/n)
1x minipci

ideal CPE for outdoors:
RB711 + jack DC, + not integrated lan in cpu.
