Have rb711 surge protection??

I’m disappointed.

  • no GigE
  • slow CPU
  • no plastic case
  • L3 licence

Hope there are more 7xx models in the pipeline.

I’m disappointed too.

cheap CPE ok, but:

  • no plastic case
  • no DC JACK - WHY ? (cost 0,1 EUR)
  • lan integrated in CPU

And only 1 MIMO. :frowning:

I really which they would share their product ideas with a peer review board.

Tom

We have more than 10 new products coming this year, each will have their own. This is for the integrators, they simply love them. Demand is very high.

10 new products  :
RB711 with 1x ufl
RB711 with 1x mmcx
RB711 with 2x ufl
RB711 with 2x mmcx
RB711 with USB
RB711 with b/g radio
RB711 with JACK ?
RB711 with RS232
RB711 with more ram
RB711 with more CPU

Maybe others?

what’s the difference with most of our RB411 products?

the RB711 is special because it doesn’t have any of those features, that way it’s cheaper.

Hi,

at any rate, it give this new Products:

RB711-5Hn-M - RouterBOARD 711 with 400Mhz Atheros CPU, 32MB RAM, 1 LAN, 1 built-in 5Ghz 802.11a/n card, RouterOS L3, MMCX connector

RB711-5Hn-U - RouterBOARD 711 with 400Mhz Atheros CPU, 32MB RAM, 1 LAN, 1 built-in 5Ghz 802.11a/n card, RouterOS L3, U.fl connector
RB711A-5Hn-M - RouterBOARD 711 with 400Mhz Atheros CPU, 64MB RAM, 1 LAN, 1 built-in 5Ghz 802.11a/n card, RouterOS L4, MMCX connector

Interesting, what kind of products?

All kinds

It would be useful if you were to tell your distributors under an NDA, so that we can plan our ordering to coincide with new products.

Nick.

is in the list RB750 with wireless integrated?

I completely agree.

Kindly regards,

Jorge

I’m very disappointed too! :frowning:

Is it so difficult to bring something really useful like a 450G + R52Hn + L5 in a nice metal case? I’m pretty sure that’s what most of us were expecting for. It would sell like hotcakes.

I see that everyone has their special dream product that “would sell like hotcakes” and that “everyone needs”, but everyone has a different one

Don’t worry, we will make them Lots of people dreamed about RB711 too.

Yes, my RB dream:

ideal CPE for indoors:

3x eth (build in switch)
1x build in radio (b/g/n or a/n)
1x minipci

ideal CPE for outdoors:
RB711 + jack DC, + not integrated lan in cpu.

the first one you mentioned sounds a lot like the RB433

OK RB413R with build in radio and 1x minipci and plastic case.

This RB711 was exactly what I was looking for!
Awaiting the RB750AR now

lol - funny stuff … but to chime in. Are there any 2.4Ghz 1x1 n based solutions in the pipeline, or is that just another pipedream? :astonished:

Nonetheless im sure ill find a use for the released 5ghz version.
