New RouterBoard RB951 unable to access web interface

I recently purchased a RouterBoard RB951. At the moment, I can only connect to the internet through my second laptop (Kubuntu). For some reason my desktop (Windows 7) and my first laptop (Windows 7) cannot connect to the internet. The desktop is behind a switch, and the Windows laptop was able to connect to “default” (the name of the MikroTik network?), but it was not able to connect to the internet. On every machine, I am unable to connect to 192.168.88.1. I am not sure what to do from this point. I have tried reset the modem, and router via the reset button and via unplugging them from the power source. I am not sure why this particular laptop is able to connect to the internet and the others cannot.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The Windows laptop was able to connect when I moved farther away from the router. The wifi signal is very weak and is unable to be connected to when the laptop is within 10 feet of the router.

Hiya, what modem do you have?
I presume you have configured your modem to work with your router? ie. pppoe passthrough?
and set up a pppoe client on your router?
I had a similar problem configuring a vigor modem to work with an RB951 until I used the auto setup
on the vigor and then changed it to pass PPPoe through manuallty

My modem is a Ubee U10C035.30 D3.0 DOCSIS 3.0

How would I configure my modem to work with the router?

I have not been able to configure anything because the web interface is inaccessible on 192.168.88.1 for some reason.
