New Setup, DHCP internet + Multiple VLANs

Hey guys, please forgive me for my lack of detail, but I’m limited on time and just want to put this out there.

I basically have a cable internet connection and am running a CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+.

I’m happy to blow away my whole config, but I need help setting up the internet connection + VLANs for multiple uses. I have a vmware server I’d like to slice up into different lab environments, I have my wifi (which I currently just have on a separate port entirely and might end up leaving it that way, but want to make sure it works fine with a new VLAN setup), and my LAN.

I’m happy to pay someone to work with me directly. I can provide a full diagram of my home network at the moment, but I just can’t read anymore articles or watch anymore videos because I just don’t understand what I’m doing and i’m losing my mind reading post after post, but not having a clear cut, start this way, method.

If this is wildly out of place or just not welcome on these forums, feel free to delete it, and I’ll contact someone from the list of people that offer these services. In my experience, it has been difficult to get a hold of some of them, or coordinate a time to work together, etc., etc..

I completely respect the consultants in this field, however, in my experience they want to simply do the work. I am actually trying to learn, so if there are specific consultants that are ok with a little teaching, then great, but that has not been my experience. I just need someone familiar with the subject to have a one on one direct conversation with me, even if there is a guide that we can reference as a starting point. We can talk over discord or team speak and set a time that works best for everyone. If no one here is interested in making an extra $100 for 2 hours of chit chat, then so be it. I just figured this would be a good place to start. I’ll shop the consultants if nothing else.
