Hey everyone.. I am basically coming from the Edge Router Ubiquiti world.. I spent the greater part of the last two years on the forums and watching every video i could learning Edge OS and their CLI (wasnt easy) because i just loved their routers and UNMS.. But it looks like they are distancing themselves more and more from the Edge Line and focusing more on their Unifi Stuff (not a fan of their routing stuff) anyways.. Because of what i see happening with them, and the great things i hear about mikrotik, im going to start my learning process over here with this community. I trust that this equipment and OS is incredible and im excited to get started learning to do the things that Ive learn on Edge OS.

You might find some of these Juniper to MikroTik articles we did helpful for the routing portion. Since Ubiquiti routers use VyOS syntax and that’s taken from Juniper, a lot of the commands are the same.
My personal opinion - here is the best learning material I’ve found/used https://mynetworktraining.com/ (same guy has pretty much all courses in Udemy).
I don’t like reading hundreds of pages books. I am visual learner.
