Just upgraded to v3.8 to fix current routing and web-proxy issues.
Well now it’s worse. RIP has a tendancy to only replicate some routes causing network to break.
Enabling and disabling causes routes to replicate for short while then ROS removes them once more.
please send us the support output file from your routers where is doesn’t work. Also make the network diagram of this setup. Send that to support@mikrotik.com. We need to know in which kind of setup it stops working.
i have set up RIP network (rather small, just 5 routers) set up basic setup and i cannot see any problems with rip redistributing routes or stability of the net (sending over 30 MBps traffic to put some strain on network)
Well it could be more specifically RIP redistributing OSPF routes thats the issue with me.
i have 5 core routers on a LAN that use RIP v1.
Then one of these routers happens to be a MT unit that then inturn redistributes rip routes via ospf to our wireless network and vice versa.
