Hi,
I got aware of the new documentation platform based on Atlassian Confluence.
Compared to the “old” WIKI, I must say I am pretty disappointed as the formatting makes it unreadable.
Even if you managed to get away from the three columns web design, you still have to scroll.
That is not usable! Please review, this is horrible.
Attached screenshots from the tablet I am using in the field.

To hide the left column is not that difficult. The right column is first click the book sign till it becomes transparant an then click three dots for menu and close menu amd the third column will be hidden.
I prefer the reader mode in the Firefox browser.

Two of three columns hidden but the text is still cut off.

In Confluence there seems to be no display mode, where you don’t have to scroll every single line.
In reader mode you loose the formatting.
Both ways it is really annoying.
At the same time we loose this great TOC table from before. I hardly see the improvement.

The problem with Confluence is it requires editors to be aware of how the hierarchy is structured. People creating documentation don’t like to do that, so it will ultimately end up being a single level wiki that is harder to read and find content.
