Hi, I’m new to the Mikrotik world and would like someone to double check my settings and configuration to see if i have any problems. I live in a small community that has decided to get a T1 line to service our town via a wifi LAN. I have constructed a central accesspoint connected to a cisco 1721 and two repeater stations using WDS to cover the town. I’ve configured the Mikrotik as a hotspot server and am using NAT and user name and passwords for each person to log in with. I am controlling bandwidth by setting up user profiles and assigned “high limit” ~500k or “low limit” ~300K profiles to each user. Is there anything you guys would reccomend I do, or configure to make sure the network runs smoothly? How about any other firewalls or PTP blocking or something like that? Everything should work well as is right? Thanks!
