I am setting up my first Hotspot system using Ubiquiti Unifi voucher system. I have 4x Ubiquiti 2.4 Ghz Outdoor access points around the site, connected wirelessly to a central M5 Rocket antenna, using 4x Ubiquiti M5 Nanostations at each AP. The central M5 rocket is connected via a Mikrotik RB750UB, which in turn is connected to my Unifi controller PC and to a Ubiquiti M5 Nanobridge, bringing the internet signal into the site, from a remote location. I am not clever enough to work out how to limit traffic type and bandwidth etc on the Unifi system, so I thought it might be better to do this at the Mikrotik router. The router is out working on site, so I cannot see what options are available to me, here in my office. I need to block any unneccessary downloads by end customers, as the bandwidth available is lowish. Is there a simple FAQ on how to do this, that a newbie like me would be able to understand, as a Windows XP user.
