Newbie with RB750Gr3

Hello guys,

a few days ago I purchased an RV750Gr3 unit in order to start «playing and learning».

The following schematic shows what I am planning to do (for starters).

The red units (Unit A1, Unit A2, Unit B1, Unit B2) can be controlled via a TCP socket at port 9990. The first step would be to set up the IP addresses of the two sides of the mikrotik unit.

I suppose this is how I should do it.




In the first schematic the computer is connected to port 4. I suppose there would be no difference If I connect it to port2 or port3 or port 5. Am I correct?

It looks like you have two subnets on the go.
Should the subnets have access to each other?
Is the switch managed or unmanaged?

The switch is a cheap unit, I suppose it’s unmanaged.

The objective is to access the four red units (A1, B1, A2, B2) from the computer. Anything else is not needed therefore it should not be allowed.
