I am Sysadmin in my company, and at the moment we are recearching and learning about topic NIS2 which is EU-wide Directive and legislation on cybersecurity.
Depnding of company size and what company do, some companies must be in compliance with NIS2 directive.
In one of many NIS2 ordinance it states that all critical IT infrastructure devices must be NIS2 directive certified, and compliant.
Are MikroTik devices certified and compliant with NIS2 directive?
This is just GDPR all over again. incomprehensible, unspecific, difficult to interpret and generallistic lawyer-product. It’s just a new game for the “NIS2” experts to extract money from customers in panic.
It has very little to do with the equipment itself. It’s mostly the supply-chain stuff that might be applicable. The main focus is processes and steering within the organization.
