I’m new to mikrotik and purchased an RB102. it had version 2.9.29 software on it, so I was able to enable the wireless-legacy package and use my NL2511 radio. I purchased a license and a copy for my wrap board. It is version 2.9.38 and doesn’t have the wireless-legacy package available, AND it doesn’t see my NL2511 radio. How do I get version 2.9.38 to work with my NL2511??

You need the “wireless-legacy” package for 2.9.39 whick I dont see any more… I cant seem to find when the pulled it.

Anyone can post a copy of those package (wireless-legacy) updated? I need it too, becouse I have a Senao 2511Plus mPCI to put on a MT 112 with ROS 2.9.38.
I downloaded 2.9.35, 2.9.37, 2.9.38, 2.9.39 (the only “all package” version available on this syte), but no “wireless-legacy” found.
Someone can help me/us?

edit: actually, we tested this card in 2.9.39 and it works fine! no need for special packages. if you have problems, make supout.rif and send to support
Just tested under a 3.0beta5, and it doesn’t recognize it.
Platform used:
On same platform, but with ROS 2.9.27, it goes ok (recognized and perfect funcionality).
this should be posted in the beta forum and not in the regular wireless networking.
We will check what is wrong there.

I have both PCMCIA and MiniPCI Senao 2511 cards in production with 2.3.39 and they are working flawlessly.
Having some issues with XI-325’s lately though… haven’t sent in a supout.rif because I can’t tell if it’s a noise issue for sure.
