I have a few hotspots with nmp-8602 mini-pci cards on RB532’s. The problem is that the newer notebooks with the Intel 3945 a/b/g mini-pci express cards don’t even pick up the 8602’s ssid’s!
Anybody know why this is and can it be fixed?
- Upgrade routers to the latest RouterOS version.
- set wireless interface configuration, ‘interface wireless set proprietary-extensions=post-2.9.25’.
These cards have a lot of problems with Mtik. I had the same issues. It has been discussed here a few times, please search the Forum for results
